Hello my name is Lorraine Shields and I am the Family Support Coordinator in the school. I work with pupils, parents and carers to support the children with coming to school, welfare concerns and any special educational needs that may affect your children’s progress in school. More importantly ensuring your children are safe and happy.

I work closely with all the staff and children on a daily basis and try to encourage parents and carers to participate in all activities we have on offer for the events we plan in school every half term.

I am also a Designated Person for Safeguarding in school ensuring our safeguarding policy and procedures are adhered to. I work with other agencies and can advocate on behalf of parents/carers within multi -disciplinary meetings.
