Year 6 have had a very busy forest school session today. They were challenged to build the biggest twig tower they could…..the tallest was over 2m! Some of the children also took on the knot challenge of choosing the correct fastening to secure the hammock.

We attended a careers fare at Excelsior to learn more about our employment opportunities in the future.

We explored practical problem solving in maths as part of No Pens Day.

We had great fun investigating our school grounds for living things as part of our evolution unit.

We enjoyed our sessions with Dan from Northumberland Cricket.

We have really enjoyed our weekly STEM session with Steph from NUcastle Foundation. We have looked at a range of science and technology topics.
